Holding space for presence, healing, and inner harmony

Professeur de yoga

Hello, my name is Maria-Fernanda. I am from Guatemala and have been living in France for several years. I am a yogi and a therapist.

Since I was a child, I have always had a deep love for nature and animals, which naturally led me to embrace a lifestyle that respects the environment, both in my diet and my daily habits. My interest in ecology and the planet is an integral part of who I am, which is why I was drawn to alternative medicine and holistic healing practices.

Life has taken me on many voyages around the world, strengthening my sense of adventure and passion for languages (I am fluent in French, English, and Spanish). At 16, I left my home country to settle in China, and my years spent there further fueled my inspiration and deepened my interest in alternative medicine. However, it was ten years ago, during a challenging period in my life, that my yoga practice truly began. A friend introduced me to yoga, and this encounter was life-changing. Eight years ago, I turned my passion into a career by becoming a yoga teacher in London.

During a trip to Guatemala, I had the privilege of meeting my Reiki master at Lake Atitlan. After my initiation, I gained valuable experience offering sessions in Guatemala before opening my own practice in Saint-Mandé.

As a dreamer, passionate and endlessly curious soul, my journey took a decisive turn the day I discovered Nada Yoga. This practice allowed me to explore the depths of both external and internal space, and it made me aware of the interconnectedness of all elements. I realized that we are an integral part of a reality much larger than our imagination can conceive. It was at this moment that I decided to integrate Nada Yoga into my practice and become a sound therapist.

Through sacred chants and sound meditation, I discovered a new dimension to my yoga practice. Every aspect of yoga – physical, mental, and spiritual – has allowed me to understand the science of yoga in its entirety. Yoga, in its totality, is an art in itself, and it has profoundly enriched my life.

As a dancer at heart, passionate about life and freedom, I have found the crossroads where art, science, and spirituality meet. I am honored to be able to explore and share these three essential spheres of existence.

Today, I dedicate myself to helping others discover their own light and open the path to freedom by working with the body, mind, and heart.
